    If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you already know that my favourite restaurant in the world is New York City’s Eleven Madison Park. I realize that there are a lot of great restaurants in the world that I haven’t been to yet but I have a very special spot in my heart for this one. I have reviewed it a couple of times on this blog and have been on a few occasions, to celebrate birthdays or just because… Because you don’t really need a reason to take a seat in the gorgeous art deco dining room and have a meal you will remember forever, or at least I don’t. Since I discovered Eleven Madison Park a few years ago, it has gained more Michelin stars (3 in total), quite a few James Beard Awards, 5 stars from the New York Times and has had an incredible and well-deserved climb up the San Pellegrino list of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants to land at number 5 this year, which also makes it the best restaurant in North America.
