While it’s a tale of resilience and hope, it also confronts the harsh realities of poverty, abandonment, and the search for belonging. For this production, we’ve worked to see the story through Oliver’s eyes, capturing the vivid and fantastical way children remember moments. This perspective lets us balance the story’s grit with its heart, highlighting the humanity of every character, no matter how flawed.

    Performing in this very theatre, and in shows like Oliver! as a child, brought me immense joy. It was a place where I found wonder, community, and inspiration, and now I have the privilege of returning—not just as a grown-up kid, but as a dad myself—stepping back into the world that shaped me.
