Her career began in 1993, and in 1995, she was cast in the role of Michelle Bauer on the CBSsoap operaGuiding Light. In 1999, she was cast as Greenlee Smythe on the ABC soap opera All My Children; she held the role off-and-on until the network series finale in 2011. In 2015, she was cast in the role of Hayden Barnes on General Hospital. In 2019, Budig was cast on L.A.'s Finest, as Carlene Hart, a drug-trafficking soccer mom. In August 2024, Budig began playing the contract role of Dr. Taylor Hayes on the CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, Budig was the youngest of three siblings and five half-siblings, as each of her parents ha • Budig is president and owner of Budco Group, Inc., an organization with multiple interests in the transportation industry. The company has operations in more than 30 locations throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Budig graduated from the UC College of Business with a BBA in accounting in 1956, and served as a U.S. Air Force pilot from 1956-1963 with the Tactical and Strategic Air Commands before starting his career with Budco Group in 1963. He has been president of the company since 1982. He is praised as one of the most loyal university alumni, as well as an outstanding supporter of the community. He is founder, president and trustee of the Otto M. Budig Family Foundation, named for his father. The foundation supports an array of philanthropies in Greater Cincinnati, primarily the arts. His civic affiliations include serving as chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Cincinnati Ballet and establishing the ballets Otto M. Budig Academy in 2002.
